The Well Designed Travel Guide: Mexico City

Mexico City has been a popular destination for design-driven travelers for a long time. The city boasts incredible cuisine complemented by drool-worthy architecture. Imagine New York City without the concrete, surrounded by lush greenery, and with streets full of plants so captivating that it should be called the Ciudad de Verde.

The capital city is home to more than 8.5 million people, as well as 145 museums and 15,000 restaurants. You won't be limited to eating carne asada tacos and margaritas either, as the cuisine selections include everything from handmade bread and pastries to tapas bars, sushi, and Korean dishes. Once you're done dining, you can enjoy the incredible nightlife or choose to retire early and wake up for a sunrise hot air balloon ride.

If you're still not convinced that you should add CDMX to your bucket list, check out a few recommendations from my can't-miss list below.
